Bill, Thanks for your reply and the answers are
They are headed from South to North Mex Border to Canada,
The last verified physical contact was in Idyllwild on the 3rd, the last
spot check in was just outside San Jacinto on the 6th, just south of I-10.
Yes they have a cell, but there has been no response, it goes directly to
voice mail like it is turned off.
As far as prior contact, they were checking in on a regular 2-3 day
intervals, unless otherwise noted in out of service or off the grid areas.
As far as Physical availability, I live in Lake Havasu but can and will make
myself as available as necessary. That is why I am reaching out to the
hiking community, and I have also been in touch with the San Bernardino and
Riverside County Sheriff's Offices, and the PCTA, And the Forrest Rangers in
the area, AND a couple of the Trail Angles, primarily Andrea ( Pct Mom in
Washington) AND Donna (L-Rod) in Southern California to try and pass the
word along and get some sort of information on these two.
Any help is certainly welcome and appreciated and Please feel free to e mail
me at dart at uneedspeed.net or call me at 928-486-0286 at any time.
Thank you for your e mail and your help.
Wes Dosey
Lake Havasu City.
