IIRC, the OP was talking about carrying up to 16 liters of water for two
people. That would be 8 liters per person for a 20 mile day. That is
about what I drank on my section hike last May from Campo to Pines to
Palms. If they are hiking in the same kind of heat I was hiking in, that
may not be enough.
