Snappy writes: Switchback,?My hydration system is far superior to yours.? About 10 years ago I hiked the Apache Point trail in the Grand Canyon, which has no shade or water, in 100 degree temperatures hauling 12 liters of water.? CAUTION!!!....Do not attempt to do that.....it would rip the bottom out of your flimsy Mariposa pack.?
?
And for your information my hiking wardrobe beats your hiking wardrobe any time.?
My hiking wardrobe consists of the finest quality garments available at Goodwill and at .50 cents to $2.00 per item I don't have to be nervous about rolling around in the dirt like you will be, wearing your fancy $50.00 - $75.00 per item designer showcase wardrobe.?
You are just trying to impress the hiker babes.....you're not fooling me one bit.? JMT Reinhold,?Your snappy trail companion?

Switchback replies: Since my hydration system only requires 3 liters of water in the Mariposa Plus pack and I can easily carry 9 liters of water with my system, I think I doing pretty good.? Plus, if I really wanted to carry more I could easily add some liters in the Mariposa.? It would make your 12 liters look like you had a Learner's Permit for backpacking.? Instead of the professional hiker trash that I am.
?
Say, I am really getting my new gear setup going.? I will be doing a new SuperSecrets of Backpacking paper soon.? I think the subtitle will be "Canada Guaranteed."? This will be?platiumn information on gear.? Only a few people in the world know this stuff.? Every year at the April Kickoff I will hand out copies to attendees to my seminar.? These hikers will have?a BIG advantage over others on the trail.? Their odds of making it to Canada will be around 85%.? If they do not, then of course I will give them my world famous 120% money back guarantee.
