imagine how much faster it will get there without having to carry the  
canopy, fridge, beer, porta potty, bed AND YOU!  :-D :-)

THEN, you could sell it to the government ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DARPA_Grand_Challenge 
  ) and hike for the rest of your life on the proceeds!
