Radar: Terms like that normally refer to multiple offers from the same
retailer (e.g., you can't use your 20% coupon on a sale-priced item)--not
offers from entirely different companies.

But Tortoise is right: most rebate offers rely on the fact that a
significant number will never be claimed or will be disallowed. It allows
manufacturers and retailers to offer an apparently low price (FREE! after
rebate) even on items that don't depend on monthly subscription fees (like
SPOT and cell phones) to support their business model.
