Yes, we have hiked from Kennedy Meadows to Tuolumne twice using one bear 
canister for 2 people. My earlier post described how and what we packed on 
our 2007 PCT hike. If you can't find the post send me an email.

Anybody do the Sierras with one canister for TWO people?
