[pct-l] WaterProofing

I mixed enough colman fuel in with the silicon to make a thin paste. It had
to go into the stitch holes yet be thick enough to remain as a layer on top
of the seam. I applied it with a wee brush that came with "real" seam
sealer. This method also has the advantage of preventing a cut thread from
running.

On completion , and drying, I tested the bags by filling with water. The
seams were water-tight but water dripped through the material in a few
places.

I also tested my commercial dry bags. They all leaked at the seams. The
worst were those with taped seams because the tape comes off. And the worst
of the worst were heavy-weight bags with taped seams.
