[pct-l] Camping near Echo Lake in CA

I hiked in from Echo Lake to Barker pass about a month ago, only made it
on-trail around 4PM cold and wet at Echo Lake. There are some good places
to camp less than an hour in, on the far side of the lake. Apparently you
can take the ferry to get over there, and save yourself a few miles/some
time, but I chose to simply hike it. There is a BSA camp which I stayed
near, and it was good. Are you looking for somewhere specific, close to the
road, etc? There are organized campsites in South Lake Tahoe, if that is
the kind of campsite you are looking for.
