Wouldn't one be pulling out of KM and heading North? Or is this for JMTers? I'm confused.
Unrelated to this... someone sent out a picture a while back of a huge box of mayo packets (and boy did those look delicious!) I've started a new job and discovered there are also single serving ketchup-style packets of lemon juice! Not sure if this would be useful on the trail- perhaps as an addition to your foil tuna packets rather than getting the pre-lemoned kind?
YITOOD,

With the caveat that it's still very early in the year, spring storms can dump huge amounts of precip, yadda, yadda, yadda......
Those of you hiking this coming year might want to consider pulling your start dates forward. If the trend continues, there's no reason you couldn't head out of VVR in late May to the first week of June and have a pretty easy time (compared to the very high snow years of 05 or 06, at least) getting through the high Sierra.
