I have a Marmot Precip jacket that was worn almost every day (50 in all) on my CT hike in 2006.  It performed flawlessly.  

However, Last year I discovered two pin holes in the back and a part near the back shoulder that is delaminating.  Marmot also has a lifetime guarantee, and I'm sending it back for repair/replacement.  Otherwise, love it, love it, love it - especially the attached hood with partial bill.
