[pct-l] another tent question

trail weight is just the tent and stakes, sometimes it includes the rainfly too or maybe it's the rainfly and stakes ...either way...the packaged weight includes all the bag that come with it..I never use any of them...I fold my tent and put it in the pack like that, rubberband the poles and stakes and put them in the pack somewhere that way.

Does anybody know what it means when manufactures state 2 or 3  
different weights for their tent? ... for example
trail weight: 4 lbs 0 oz
packed weight: 4 lbs 9 oz
and I've even seen fast weight listed too???
