Should you do this be prepared to encounter vast quantities of people on
mountain bikes....most moving at breakneck speed. You get used to it but it
is still unnerving after being on trails where bikes are, at least
officially, forbidden. Having said that, it really is a beautiful trail as
long as you take it for what it is and don't compare it to other Sierra
trails.
