The Guidebooks are not available in PDF or any other digital format that can
be easily replicated and "shared".  This helps them to protect their
intellectual property.

This is awesome! I just lowered my pack weight by several OZ.  My gadget
buddy just loaded my Ipod Touch (not the IPhone) with all of Halfmile's
Google maps, cell reception and waypoints using the "Discover" application
that is FREE on ITunes.  Now I'll add a couple books and a "Tune Juice" for
extra power and I'm golden ;-)  Anyone know if you can you get the Guide
Books in PDF?  BTW, Thanks Halfmile ;-)
