[pct-l] PCT numbers. How many started/finished?

Hello all,
I'm not into stats and stuff, but I get this question when I tell people about my PCT plans: How many people start the trail a year? How many finish?
 
I'd heard about 300 hikers start a year, but that was a few years ago. Anyone have the numbers from last year? How many hikers started last year, how many finished?
