[pct-l] Creek Crossings

That could be the Middle Fork of the Kings River, which is a bit north
of Glen Pass, near the Taboose Pass Trail when the PCT starts climbing
to Upper Basin and Mather Pass. I still vividly remember that one in
1998 (very high snow year). George was ranger at Little Pete Meadow that
year, and he told us to NOT cross the rather tiny stream as we headed
southbound, but to stay on the east side and it was an easy walk along
the edge of the meadow about 3 miles to where the PCT recrossed the
river. We were glad he took his advice, as when we reached what we
otherwise would have had to cross we saw no way to do it, it looked like
the rapids of the Grand Canyon.
