[pct-l] freeze-dried foods - Harmony House

"My experience with many of the Harmony House vegetables is that they can
take a fairly long time to rehydrate/cook. Some stayed tough, no matter
what."

Just figured out why - Harmony House has some freeze dried products, but
most are conventionally dehydrated, and dehydrated foods take significantly
longer to rehydrate (sometimes hours) compared to freeze-dried which
rehydrate more or less instantly (start in cold water and bring to boil).

Incidentally, Harmony House looks to be quite a bit more expensive than Just
Tomatoes.

Example:
8oz of regular corn from Harmony House = $12.95
8oz of regular corn from JustTomatoes = $9.00
8oz of organic corn from JustTomatoes = $10.55

Haven't price compared every product, but looks like they're quite a bit
pricier in general.
