So is the PCT more littered?

depends where you are at. Ive sectioned hiked most of the p.c.t.some areas are better than others. but the worst spot hands down was central Oregon.horse packers have totally trashed the area.every decent camp was  covered in horse crap. the trail was littered with horse crap and feed bale twine.the worst of the worst was the rosary lakes. i came upon a fresh horsemans campsite. the site was littered(as usual)with horse crap, twine and trash. they also left there "latrine" a 3x3 space filled with at least two feet of human waste.no pit no nothing.
it`s not just the horseman. i met a day hiker in the sky lakes area who told me about a great campsite up ahead. it was a great campsite,filled with her lunch debris and a smoldering campfire( in one of Oregon's worst fire years).other than central Oregon and the border region the p.c.t. is fairly decent
