Good morning, Isabella,

A classic way of obviating this problem is to slip a plastic garbage bag
over the end of the sleeping bag. It shouldn’t cover more than necessary –
just the last one-two feet – because the moisture needs a way to escape. Many
hikers carry plastic bags anyway to protect the sleeping bag, clothes, etc.
when in the rain and when fording creeks.
