[pct-l] jet boil, sea to summit x-mug

Before I go any further, I want to make sure everyone knows that I receive NO
REMUNERATION or compensation, money, discounts, gifts or any other type of 
kick back from anyone, for anything.
I raise this issue because someone on the list asked me this, after my series
of
emails re: Jetboil products.
Of course, I'm an old back pack'in whore, so if you work for Jetboil, feel free
to send me a shitload of free stuff, and goodies, I will get over the stigma
right away.   ;-> 
Anyway, now that that's out of the way, I noticed when trying out more goodies
from REI, for my death valley/ Panamint  trip this Christmas, that the Sea to
Summit collapsible  silicone " X-MUG, fits perfectly, and is a watertight seal
on top
of the jet boil PCS, Flash cooking cup/pot thingy.
The black silicone  coated hard rim,  on the mug forms an excellent seal. It's
almost as if they were made for each other.

Of course this is more directed towards PCT  section hikers who are not
weighing
their gear by the grams of weight in their packs, as apposed to hard core trail
running thru hikers, who need to trim labels from their gear to save weight.


I've done my thru hikes, I'm a section hiker. and I'm old and chubby.
