It seems a little ridiculous to accomodate a fuel canister! :)

If you're willing to be flexible in the manner that you prepare food, it 
will certainly be less logistically challenging. Having one hot meal a day 
is a real treat. It doesn't need to be a hassle, though.

If you're prepared to go 'cold', never cook, think how much easier this 
would be. Fuel, stoves and pots, sporks and the extra weight all go away. In 
the end, it's a trade off.
