Someone earlier mentioned buying fuel canisters in Mojave. I could never find any there nor in
Tehachapi. Now Eric the B gives us the hint: hitch to Bakersfield....
I guess that anywhere starts to be a resource, as long as you can hitch 40 or more miles!
