Say, here is an idea in new clothing.? The good old Elephant's Foot.? I have always liked this idea.? You use the Elephant Foot with your down jacket at night when you sleep.? It is basically a half sleeping bag.

Over at www.thenorthface.com they have one for $129 at 18 ounces.? I would still use my 8 ounce Sea-to-Summit ThermoLite as an overbag.? I do that now and it works well.



For over $300 you could go over to www.nanatakusa.com and get the Akula Half Bag.? I am sure it is warmer, but I wonder if the North Face would be just fine with a light overbag.
