Please choose your equestrian route carefully here in the North Cascades.
We've lost 4 pack animals in the last couple of  years up here. 2 just the
other day. Ed Anderson has studied his route extensively and spoken with
knowledgeable folks in planning his trip. Speaking with real people who have
travelled the mountain areas is the way to go. Following just the maps
doesn't always show you and your horse the safest route.
