"psst" is the sound someone makes when trying to get someone's attention, to announce something to them.

In this case it also stands for something, "Preparation, Safety, Snow Travel."  That is the name of the new Forum at Postholer.

The discussions will be moderated by Mtnned from Mountain Education (who conducts the free Snow Course weekend training trips) and will be about everything pertaining to planning and preparing for your up-coming thru hike, safety issues for the trail, and other concerns like creek-crossings, navigation over-snow, and snow techniques. I will use the Forum to post informational topics helpful for your trip enjoyment and success. Consider it like a book on the subject.
