[pct-l] Sawyers Bar resupply - Section P CA

Regarding Sawyers Bar:  There is a VERY SMALL Post Office (Postal 'shack' might be more appropriate) in Sawyers Bar...
It has the same zip code as Etna since all mail for SB goes through the Etna PO...

As Deems stated it is only 10 miles from Etna Summit to Etna...  A very long 15 miles from ES to Sawyers Bar (for those that think the 10 miles
to Etna is long, they should go back and experience the drive from ES to Sawyers or on down to the Forks sometime! The drive from Etna to 
the Summit is almost a freeway by comparison!!)
Etna folks know of the PCT (especially those in the PO) - it should be a 'must' stop because of the friendly, PCT knowledgeable people in Etna...
Sawyers Bar really has had NO services for many years...  My son lived in SB for 5 years until last fall - they always drove the 25 miles to Etna
(at least a one hour drive under good conditions) for their supplies instead of going downriver to Forks of Salmon or further West...

So head East for Etna!!  'Forget' about Sawyers Bar for PO/resupply...
