[pct-l] Crater Lake

I thought I would reach out to the list for any feedback or thoughts on the Crater Lake Fire.  I am currently at Shelter Cove near Williamette Pass, headed south.

I just got off the phone with the NFS at Crater Lake, and was told the PCT is closed from Hwy 138 to Hwy 62, (about 23 miles) and that I should get back on 5 miles south of 62.

Any thoughts from the group on the easiest way to get around this fire?  Thank you all for any help.
