Well.......If you plan to walk down to Skykomish from Steven's Pass trail
head it really is a dangerous idea. There's a couple of 1 mile stretches of
2 lane that are narrow with no shoulder. No one that I know of in 6 years
has hiked that area on the hwy. Every one hitches........ some are lucky
enough to be picked up by the Trailways bus that comes by twice a day.
