And out of that compromise came an entry in your Journal that I found
inspiring. You had planned to hike straight through from Kennedy Meadows
to VVR, but found yourself in Bishop writing these words:
This evening as I write this entry I can't help but think what a change
in attitude I have had with regards to the definition of success over
the past 10 days. What is success?
Success is Setting Goals, but not in concrete.
Success is Staying Focused, but turning aside to help someone else.
Success is Following a Plan, but remaining flexible and change as necessary.
Success is Moving Forward, but not too fast to smell the flowers.
Success is Taking A Bow, but applauding those who had a part in your
success.
