[pct-l] Local Victorville/Apple Valley area hikes question

I live in Apple Valley and have been looking for good places to take quick
training hikes.  My girlfriend lives down in Rancho Cucamonga and has access
to about 5 different trails that are 5-10 mile loops along the mountains
within 15 minutes of her house.  I have to drive an hour for this kind of
access.  Does anyone know of any good quick hikes like this, the kind of
thing I could drive to in 15 or 20, hop on the trail and be back in 2-3
hours and drive home?

Thanks for any advice, I'm trying to get in shape and hiking the roads near
my house is getting dull.  The nice thing is the roads all have dirt
sidewalks so it's somewhat "trail-like" for my feet, but not my heart.
