[pct-l] the fuss about prepardness

Since everybody else is expressing an opinion, I'll express mine too.
My opinion is that there is nothing wrong with risking discomfort,
whether you do it out of ignorance or foreknowledge. Discomfort
is part of the experience. Risking death or serious injury is another
matter. The bottom line, for me, is that if you need to be rescued,
you have probably screwed up. If you don't need to be rescued,
I am not going to criticize your decision making.
