Those are indeed great photos Mr. Deems.  Your dog looks very happy in all of them.  What type 
of Dog is she?  I spent about two hours going through all your photos last night.

I recently did the Burney Falls to Subway Cave through a series of day hikes in March and April.  
Believe it or not, all of the snow on the Hat Creek Rim was gone by late March.  

So SPearce107, to answer your question about Lassen.  I just hiked there on Monday going from 
Hwy 36 to Domingo Springs.  The snow level is about 6400 feet.  I saw some snow patches at 
lower elevations but nothing serious.  Actually, its a great time to hike in Lassen as snow plants 
are in bloom, very few people, and the bugs are not out yet.
