[pct-l] SAR-Missing hiker

Hello,

Donna I think you maybe thinking of this fellow: http:// 
www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?ID=233302 AKA as Brandon White. His  
new trail name is "Hoffa" because he was "missing."

According to another hiker, Handlebar, he(Handlebar) along with some  
others were trying to wait out some windy weather under the I-10 when  
SAR came looking for Brandon. I guess there is a hiker register there  
under the freeway(?) and Brandon had signed in so they new he was  
alive and well. I think Brandon called home when he got to Big Bear  
City once he found out he was missing.
