Yes, charcoal grills will be sizzling with fine meats.  Quality breads and spreads will lavishly adorn delicious hot dogs and brats.  The smells will drift across the Sierra foothills and distant deserts.  The sound of crunchy chips with salsa will be heard far and wide as hikers lounge at this mega food Gathering.  Ice cold Smart Water and other outstanding drinks will prepare the hiker for the mighty Sierras.  Their bodies will be fully charged and eager to attack the mountainman challenges ahead.

Probably thousands of hikers will be at Walker Pass and the PCT this holiday weekend.  The lines will be long as hikers go back for seconds and thirds of plates full of fine foods.  The famous PCT support hybrid vehicle will be on display.  Many hikers will want their picture taken with Stinker the Trail Skunk and this vehicle.  This event will be one of the highlights of their PCT journey --- immediately appreciated and long remembered.

Everyone is invited to attend to help the hikers.
