I haven't encountered any tooth powders
that contain flouride. As a dentist, I would
recommend either brushing with no tooth
powder or paste (using floss of course) and
shipping some flouridated paste or mouth
rinse in your bounce box. If you want to use
a powder to remove stains, try baking soda,
(multiple uses). If you are prone to decay,
have a checkup before your through-hike,
and get a topical flouride treatment. Mint-
flavored floss is what I carry. Ken
