[pct-l] 2008 Resupply recommendations, please

>From what I recall, the negative comment about VVR was that they may open
your package and resell the stuff in it. This is only if your package sits
there longer than the "throw away" date you put on the package and it's to
make up for the cost of hauling the package up to VVR from a tiny post
office hours away. I've heard they will also open up the hiker box to sell
items from there, but I never saw this and they hiker boxes were almost
overflowing when I went through. The husband and wife that run VVR were some
of the nicest people I met on my JMT hike. Of course, VVR is expensive, but
not as much as Muir Trail Ranch and VVR is a much better experience from
what I have heard. If neither suits you, there are other options to
consider.
