[pct-l] Defense of Thread Herd & L-Rod at the April Kickoff!!!

It’s downright dastardly and diabolical . . . a scheme that could only be
thought of by the most twisted of minds. Akin to blackmail, I say. Curses!
I and the other FLTs will have to find a way to retaliate!

L-Rod (in a peanut M&Ms induced frenzy!)

Lightning Rod writes: I'm very excited that I'm actually a thru-poster!!!
Maybe even the lead thru-poster (if that scoundrel Switchback doesn't beat
me again with all those helpful entries about gear).

-------------------------------------------------

Switchback the Trail Pirate replies: Yes, Switchback, has been sitting on
the side lines letting everyone wear themselves out. Then I will attack. I
will attack Lightning Rod first when she is tired and worn out from the land
slide of PCT-L posts. When her defenses are down. Say, come to think of
it, I do not remember her defenses ever being down. Hummmmmm. I might have
to regroup on that one.

By the way, I have a color photo of L-Rod with a pirate hat on in front of a
large pirate flag acting very happy. I might blow that up to poster size
and put it on display at the Pirate's Lair Kickoff table. That's it. What
a great idea!!!! L-ROD IN ATTENDANCE AT THE KICKOFF IN FACSIMILE.

L-Rod would be supporting the Pirate's Lair and Stinky the Lair's mascot
skunk. This is very outstanding. I might have everyone sign the poster
photo and then send it to her after the Kickoff --- she could get an idea of
the herd effect headed her way --- kind of a heads up --- an intel report.
She could put the photo on display at Hiker Heaven behind the bear canister
full of M&M's. Sort of a shrine display as you walk in.

How do I keep coming up with these brilliant ideas? It's amazing what I do
for the trail community.
