Thanks Bob. The daily info you sent me was extremely valuable in keeping the water reports current those years.

Subject: [pct-l] just curious

When I hike, I try to make daily Pocketmail water and trail condition
reports to interested maintenance people. In 05 and 07, several people were
interested S of Kennedy Meadows. I got 2-3 names from As A Bat and Suzanne Wilson
for N of KM, but none of them ever replied expressing interest. An email or two
to PCTA went unanswered also.
    For this year's hike, I emailed all five names in the front of the
Communicator, but have received no replies expressing interest. I emailed them a
month ago and got one bounce and four no replies. I'm puzzled by this. I don't
mind not doing it, as it takes more  time and clutters up my Pmail more;
however, I try to help; so if anyone knows any people from Donner Pass (US-40) to
McKenzie Pass (OR-242) who would be interested, or if any interested people
read pct-l. please email me with the section of interest. At this point they
need to reply to _trekker at pocketmail.com_ (mailto:trekker at pocketmail.com) , as
I just  activated a 3-mo subscription today (doing a 5-6 day warmup in NM's
Gila Wilderness on the GET, starting this Sun; then on to the PCT to start at
Donner  abt 1 Jul).
