We have been having a very very cold wet spring. Yesterday it was 42
degrees down here in the valley near sea level and there was new snow
on the mountains visible from my house at about 1500 feet.
There is no information yet on trail conditions on the Manning Park
website. The PCT is covered in snow.
Three years ago the class of 2005 Southbound Wave were all heading
out of Manning in much better conditions mid-June. Ah, every year is
different.
Happy Trails,
Lookout
