Cut out the tongues of their shoes. :-)
Joe says it is for more ventilation. I find that I have to keep my shoe laces extremely loose, and STILL I feel pressure. I noticed that they have tighter lacing. No pressure from the tongue allows them to do that.

I don't get it. They didn't actually cut out that piece of flesh in their
