The Bear Wallow fire to the west is near the PCT in the Marbles, and I don't know if it has burned across it. The PCT is now closed from Etna Summit to the Marble Valley area. Sorry about this bad news. http://www.fs.fed.us:80/r5/klamath/conditions/0805660closure.shtml
