[pct-l] Snow or other problems North of Donner Pass.........

We have a hiker here that tried to head south from Steven's Pass and came
back....impassible due to snow depth. He wants to head down to Donner Pass
and head north. Any updates on the snow or fires in northern California and
Oregon ??
