[pct-l] Oregon PCT Names

Good morning, Name Enthusiasts,

It's interesting how map names occasionally change.  Often it's for
political correctness, for example to get rid of "S**t-Creek", etc. but
there can be other good reasons as well.  Until relatively recently a
beautifully symmetrical snow-peak between the PCT and Bend, OR was known as
Bachelor Butte, but after acquiring an impressive array of alpine skiing
facilities it significantly improved its stature by becoming Mount
Batchelor.  Apparently the "Ski-Yuppies" in Bend find that much more
appealing.
