[pct-l] Expensive Town Resupplies?

Being from the Southeast, I'm already fearing the inflated prices out West.
I'm not a huge fan of maildrops, but have been considering some for added
convenience and to save money in really expensive towns.  What are some town
stops where a resupply is nearly essential, and all food is expensive?  Or
at least relatively speaking, the prices are very high?
