[pct-l] thru hikers

I though it about time I mention to this year's crop of hikers, that I am available as best I can be to assist hikers. Assuming my leg continues to heal I will be on the trail myself a lot this year, but when I'm not, my husband and I can help out.

I'm not sure Trail Angel fits me for I help so few but I am available to assist people anywhere in the area of Sections O, P and Q. I'm not able to have the whole gang stay with us for we are some distance from the trail. We are 17 miles from from Mt. Shasta and about  27 to Castella (end of section O); and we are not set up for it what with family visiting, travel, etc.

In the past many who wanted to climb Shasta have stayed with us and of course we see to it you get taken to/from the Mtn. Also anyone who knows they want a zero in the area of Mt. Shasta, I'd come get you from Castella and take you where ever you'd like to go (shopping, etc.) and you'd stay with us.

I have room for three in the house and a few more outside, but, I'm afraid I'd need to know ahead of time. That can simply be calling a day or more ahead of time to let me know of your arrival. I'd see to it you eat (and drank) well, I'd be glad to do your laundry, and you would have access to our TVs and computers. Again, also taking you shopping.

Anyway, there ya have it. Just thought I'd let you know. Contact me off line for more specifics. I so love helping the hikers, just am not always available.
