[pct-l] Trout Lake, Washington reload?

Last year there were reports on this forum that the 23 road was damaged 
between the PCT and Trout Lake, which limits the 13mile potential hitch hike 
into TL. Does anyone have any info on whether Trout Lake is a wise choice 
for reloading in 2008?  I'll be using Stabler's Store also.  I would like to 
hike this section from the river to Whites Pass next summer, hopefully using 
TL for a reload.
