[pct-l] PCT IRC Channel

I was mulling over more realtime chat related to the PCT, so I've set  
up an IRC room on irc.foonetic.net / irc.xkcd.com as #PCT -- for those  
of you not familiar with IRC you need a client (Windows: http://www.mirc.com/ 
  / Mac: http://colloquy.info/ ) and then you need to connect to the  
server irc.xkcd.com on port 6667

you can then type /join #PCT into the text entry line of your client.  
I'm hoping we get a few people going here but I'm aware of the lack of  
technical savvy which seems to be the norm for the backpacking  
community.

It will be nice to talk about backpacking-related issues in real time  
if this ends up coming together.
