Hey Three Toes. You missed it dude! Last labor day weekend there was a
40 year "Summer of Love" anniversary FREE concert in Golden Gate Park
at Speedway Meadows. Many of the Old Timers from the hippie scene were
there to reminisce and re-live the magic. Most acts consisted of one
original member (usually the last living one) with some pretty good
sound alike bands. My favorite was Taj Mahal who is very old and still
as good as ever.
There was a sea of people and the aroma of cannabis everywhere. The
presence of thousands of cel phones and dozens of portable ATM's was
.......odd.
We're not in Kansas anymore Toto!
