Maybe, like Groucho, you should send them a letter of resignation, saying, "I don't want to be a member of any club that would accept me as a member"!!!

As for myself, I've been throw out of better places than ALDHA-W!!!

 Switchback replies: I have been a member of years.  So, come to think of it, I guess it is for the hard core elite backpackers.  Say, that makes me feel good to be one of the "good ol' boys".  Heh, heh, heh.
