Folks, the ADZ depends on you for its success. The success of your hike DOES 
NOT depend on the ADZ.

Strider says:
"...have gone to extremes to make certain that the event does NOT become a 
vendor faire, despite intense pressure from numerous vendors, who we have 
had to politely turn away."

Is your rigorous selection of vendors dependent upon them being your 
drinking buddy or do you choose vendors that the hiking community most 
utilizes? Why not rotate vendors? Why not use vendors that the hiking 
community is most likely to utilize?

You're not fooling anyone. You're serving your own interests first and the 
hiking community's second; a gathering of enthusiastic, highly motivated 
customers coupled with 'select' vendors....for 3 days.

Don't be a thru-wallet.
