I finally got my trail journal up and running for this year.

Soon I will start posting starting with:
My resupply info Friday (hopefully)
Gear Lists (doubling my baseweight!) as I make those decisions 
On and off the trail info as I will be on and off the trail here.


I live near the (mile 110) Warner Springs Trailhead. 
I will be A and some Section B info as I gather it.
I will post trail and water conditions as I hike.

Between now and the Kick Off I will have hiked the first 110 miles (Campo to Warner Springs) and possibly up to (mile 151)
Palms to Pines.
The weekend of March 1st I will backpack to (mile 162) Cedar Springs.
The weekend of March 15th I will backpack in from the Tram and hike to the peak of Jan Jacinto which is above the Marion Ridge Trail (mile 183)

The weekend of March 29th we are also doing a short backpack above Mammoth Lakes, CA, the gateway to Red's Meadow (mile 902.8).  I have no Idea how close we come to the trail.  This involves 15-20 groups backpacking in (200+) to learn snow camping and snow hiking techniques.   I have offered to make the sacrifice of staying down in Mammoth for the sake of emergency/basecamp/Jacuzzi testing purposes.  I will post important zero-in Mammoth information, or, in the unfortunate event this does not take place (forcing me to hike up in the snow with them) I will also post any finding pertinent to the Red's Meadow area.

April 28th I'll be back on the trail headed north where this trail journal, of course, will cover a more normal hike.
